To enrich employees’ lives and strengthen team cohesion, Derateck organized a three-day team-building trip to Tonglu from July 5 to July 7. With the theme “United in Spirit, Together in Nature,” the event took all staff members away from the hustle and bustle of the city to the breathtaking landscapes of Tonglu. There, they experienced the wonders of nature while embracing the spirit of teamwork and collaboration. Beyond rest and recreation, the journey also served as a meaningful occasion for deepening team culture and mutual connection.
Day 1: Off to the Mountains — A Beautiful Journey Begins
In the morning, the group departed from Taicang and headed to the first stop: Chunjiang Sailing Scenic Area at Junshan, Tonglu. Laughter and conversation filled the road trip, as cityscapes gradually gave way to lush green hills, and the atmosphere grew more relaxed and joyful.
In the afternoon, everyone boarded a boat to experience the poetic beauty of the spring river. Surrounded by scenic mountains and flowing waters, team members fully immersed themselves in the tranquility of nature. That evening, the group checked into a hotel in Tonglu to rest and recharge for the next day’s exciting itinerary.
Day 2: Into the Forest — Strengthening Team Spirit
The second day was packed with activities, offering a refreshing experience for both body and mind.
In the morning, the group explored Daqi Mountain National Forest Park, enjoying a peaceful walk through green forest trails. Breathing in fresh air and slowing the pace, everyone found a sense of calm and connection with nature. Next came a visit to Yaolin Wonderland, a spectacular karst cave filled with stunning rock formations. Under colorful lighting, the cave resembled a dreamlike fairyland — cameras clicked, and awe filled the air.
In the afternoon, the excitement ramped up with a bamboo rafting adventure on the Tianmu Stream. As the rafts floated downstream, splashes soaked clothes and laughter echoed across the water. This “water challenge” required teamwork and mutual support — a fun, energizing test of communication, cooperation, and trust. Bonds among team members grew even stronger through shared joy and effort.
Day 3: Embracing Heritage — Igniting Team Spirit
On the final morning, the group visited Shen’ao Ancient Village, wandering down cobbled paths and past grey-tiled houses that carried the weight of history. In this peaceful setting, team members slowed down, reflected, and found inspiration in the enduring craftsmanship and values that echo Derateck’s own development philosophy.
As night fell, the trip reached its emotional high point: a bonfire party. Under the starlit sky, flames lit up smiling faces as everyone gathered hand-in-hand to dance in circles, sing songs, and celebrate in the warm glow of the fire. Joyful laughter rang out again and again, as this “bonfire celebration” marked not only the end of a beautiful journey, but also the deepening of bonds within the Derateck family.

Following the bonfire party, the company held a special ceremony to recognize outstanding employees. Awards and certificates of honor were presented to team members who had demonstrated exceptional dedication and performance over the past year.
