Derateck Automated Flexible Manufacturing Production Line: A Fully Unmanned Solution for Batch Sheet Metal Processing

분류이벤트/뉴스 1 0

In the sheet metal processing industry, the traditional discrete processing model relies on manual coordination across punching, bending, and material handling stages. Material transfer times are long, management checkpoints are numerous, and overall efficiency is constrained by the quality of inter-process connections. Derateck’s Automated Flexible Manufacturing Production Line is designed for batch sheet metal processing scenarios. It features the LAP3.1550 punching-cutting compound machine and the BCF-2030 panel bender as its core equipment, integrated with industrial robotic arms to enable fully automated material flow throughout the entire process, aiming to reduce reliance on manual labor while improving production continuity and overall efficiency.

Fully Automated Operation, No Manual Intervention Required

The production line employs industrial robotic arms as the core of material flow, covering three key stages: loading, inter-process transfer, and finished product stacking. The robotic arms are centrally scheduled by the control system, automatically performing sheet gripping and positioning for loading, material handling and precision positioning between punching-cutting and bending processes, as well as workpiece unloading and stacking after processing. All of the above operations require no manual intervention, reducing labor allocation on the line while effectively avoiding positioning deviations and cycle time fluctuations caused by human operation, thereby ensuring the continuity and consistency of the entire process.

Integrated Processing Capability, Multi-Step Completion in One Stop

The production line’s processing capability is realized through the coordinated operation of two core machines. The LAP3.1550 punching-cutting compound machine integrates multiple process modules including punching, forming, roll embossing, and cutting. A single loading cycle completes all punching and cutting operations on the workpiece, eliminating cumulative errors from multiple clamping and positioning cycles, thereby improving processing efficiency and dimensional consistency. The BCF-2030 panel bender employs servo-linked control technology, capable of meeting high-precision bending requirements for various irregular flat workpieces such as perforated and hollowed panels, without the need for offline secondary processing, effectively expanding the line’s process coverage. Both types of processes operate in a closed loop within the line, achieving one-stop processing from sheet loading to finished product output.

Lower Overall Operating Costs, Enhanced Management Efficiency

Compared to the traditional discrete processing model, the integrated design of this production line delivers multiple advantages in operating costs. The line’s digital control system integrates production scheduling, process parameter adjustment, and operational status monitoring into a unified interface, facilitating production management and subsequent process optimization iterations while lowering the technical barrier for system operation and maintenance.

Competition in the sheet metal processing industry is shifting from a contest of individual machine performance to a battle of overall line efficiency and system integration capability. Derateck’s Automated Flexible Manufacturing Production Line, through the deep synergy of punching-cutting, panel bending, and industrial robotic arms, establishes a fully automated closed loop from raw material to finished product. While reducing labor dependency and minimizing floor space, it delivers dual assurance of machining precision and production efficiency.
